Post subject:  Model A19340 Purchased at Auction - I have doubts

I recently purchased this at an auction. But it appears the model number does not match the watch. Can anyone tell me if it is real before I pay? Here is the URL:

http://www.proxibid.com/asp/LotDetail.a ... 4#topoflot

It has several pictures of the back and front. They claim it is model A19340, but that is a Navitimer model. Any help is appreciated and could save me a bundle. Thanks!

:yeahthat

Tell the seller it's a contender for the Hall of Shame and refuse to pay.

A quick look at the auction rules makes it seem that they may have already charged your credit card, so you'll want to go through them, if the auction outfit won't void the auction.

Granted this watch is junk, but do the subdials actually work on them or is it basically decoration?

Thanks so much for all the help. I have not paid for it yet, and they dont have my CC number. I dont have it in hand either so I am not sure if the sub dials work. Is there any specific information that I could give them about it not being authentic, to not pay for it? It would have to be from pictures as I have not held it in my hand. Thanks!

Glad to hear you haven't paid for it. Here's the info on the A19340, and you can see your watch doesn't look like it: http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... mer_1.html

The level of detail and craftsmanship on this thing doesn't approach Breitling, even to my untrained eye.

Hi, I'm really glad you found us here just in time.

Yes, The watch is a very low-grade fake, almost certainly made in the Far East. The watch looks nothing like any real Breitling model and specifically nothing like an 'A19340' (Navitimer Olympus). The subdials and their layout are completely wrong.
