BREITLING LIMITED EDITION # 543 of 1000 - NEVER WORN

No idea if it bears on authenticity, but the "340" on the bezel reminds me of the occasional coin-stamping error.

Ahhh I guess a dual date. Wonder what that circle on the left is for.

It's real.

The circle on the left is a day / night indicator.

Thanks, Roff, the more I looked at the bezel numbers, the more it looked a bit off to me. Comparing the "250" to the "350", for example.

That's pretty cool - would be helpful in making sure you're not setting the watch from 8pm - 3am

There was a limited edition of that type watch long time ago, but I cannot really verify, if its a real one. Too long ago, and I have no more pictures of that watch. To verify it, I would need a serial number (but there is a sticker on the back on the photograph...)

Oh, Yes, it was an ugly watch!

And the one that Benno Richter, in his infinite wisdom, chose for the cover art of the de-facto Breitling "bible" .....
