Thanks for the quick replies!! The only thing that concerns me about that seller, is that about a year ago, they purchased about 100 "positive feedback items" where you pay about $.25 to get guaranteed positive feedback. Then, everything stopped for about a year, and suddenly 2 months ago, they burst onto the scene with many high dollar watches. |

Tough one, but for me I would stay away as I need to be 100% sure and I'm not. Just look at one of the buyers feedback, mainly the first comment. "A scam planned for sometime" All these recent watch feedback could simply be him or friends and he's just waiting until he has a few sales and that's when he bails. It's one hell of an effort if it's a scam, but for a quick 20k,30k,40k? you know there's people that would do it. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... llFeedback |

The watch shown in the pic is 100% genuine. As always, I would ask for pics showing s/n on the watch matches the paperwork. The golden rule is "buy the seller, then buy the watch". If you feel unsure about the seller, then pass. There will be hundreds more Avengers up for sale. |

Why would you avoid a seller because someone who bought from them had bad feedback? |

Why would you avoid a seller because someone who bought from them had bad feedback? Well, if this same guy is scamming many markets (watches, cell phones, etc...) than he could have several ebay ID's, which he is using to give himself positive feedback? But, I did look through all the other ebay ID's on there, and they all appear to be legitimate, individual people. Also, they claim to be a brick and mortar building in New York, so I may do some research on that and see what I can come up with. I think my plan is to ask for pictures of the serial number on the watch and the serial number on the paper work, and see if they are a match. I really appreciate all the help gents!! ![]() |

yep, I think you will find out he is legit but I'd still check. PS: Yes many frauds on Ebay often have different accounts and manipulate their feedback. In this case *IF* it was a fraud the purpose would be to make other buyers feel comfortable seeing what looks like successful watch deals. |

Just got back from a vacation in Manhattan and I'm pretty sure this one wasn't on my must see list. Appears to be a pawn shop - http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&cp=21 ... CB4Q8gEwAA |
