Do they come with a red date? Subdial on the left should be 5, 10, 15, on the right should be 20, 40, 60, on the bottom, 1 - 6. How do they authenticate, could it be that the jeweler knows nothing about watches and just looks up the model number and assigns a value based on cost he finds on the net? |

Yes, the markings on the subs are completely wrong. The appraisal may be real. However, I am of the opinion that if you are declaring a professional judgement, you should known what you are talking about. |

I e-mailed the appraiser to let him know - I would think that's quite the liability! If you own a jeweler and you appraise something as real that is fake, that has to be consequential from an insurers perspective. |
