Thanks - Too old? too worn? I would have thought that one thousand for a Bretiling would be a good deal as long as it was working OK, however I admit I have no experience in the used market.

Notice now a couple of strange things. Phone number is from Alberta and I am in Manitoba. Address is from a very seedy area of Winnipeg of the city. Hmmm...

Person must have a very small wrist. He lists it as 38MM yet on his wrist it is huge. I have a small wrist and a have 38MM Chrono Cockpit and it does not look nearly that large on my wrist. Not sure why that may be important - just an observation.

Research comparables using the advice in the FAQs (#2) - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_faq.shtml#8. There's no evidence of any servicing on a watch that is at least 13 years old and may be getting on for 20 years old. The caseback condition shows that it has done a lot of living as well which needs to be reflected in the price.
