It's real. A close replica of this watch does not exist.

:welcome:

Watch in the pics is real.

To be sure the seller has the watch, I would want to see the warranty book with matching serial number and a pic showing date/time you specify with a sig from the seller.

thanks for the replies. I'm including a close up shot of the face the seller emailed to me. When i zoomed in a bit i see a hairline scratch on the crystal. Do you think this is something that can be buffed out?

It's likely not a scratched crystal, it's scratched anti reflective coating, and it can't be repaired. Either live with it, remove the outer AR completely, or have the crystal replaced.

I think Breitling should include in all manuals the simple "Breitling Arm Tuck" for walking though doors and around corners. :)

OK guys I need your final thoughts on this watch and what you would do. I emailed the seller once more asking for a picture with the listers name and date included in the picture. I also requested the serial number with the receipt to match them with the serial number on the watch. This is what i got in response:

"Hi again! I attached a picture of everything that I have, including the watch and its box with my ebay name, date and time like you requested. I am not sure if I already told you about the paperwork and certificate of authenticity, I've had so many inquiries about the watch. I recently had to relocate to Puerto Rico and during the move I lost the original purchase receipt, along with the paperwork and the certificate that has the model and serial number. Unfortunately I was only left with the four booklets shown in the pic, the original box and the watch itself. Also, in response to your question about the glass, it has no scratches on it at all. As for the buy it now option I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to accept any offers since there are a few people bidding on it already. I hope I was able to answer your questions. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other Q's. Thanks again!"

Would you bid on this or hold off. I would want all the paperwork that comes original with the watch. The only reason why im considering bidding is because the price. Im looking to buy but trying to stay within the $3500 Range. Can this watch be had elsewhere for my budget?

You can order replacement COSC certificates through Breitling to replace a lost one.

Pricing is covered in Question 2 here - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_faq.shtml#8

I held off. The ending price was around $3100. But the fact of no cosc and that a few bidders cancelled their bids at the end made me a bid weary. There will be something better

Always best if you're not 100% happy. As you say, there'll be others.
