This one looks suspicious. A very terse description for a gold Breitling, zero rated seller, and what look like stock pics with someone else's watermark?

Can't find the pictures anywhere else, so tough to prove that they aren't his other than the name is different from his eBay id.

Watch is real so nothing to report. Caveat emptor!

This is probably a dim question but do they make solid gold fakes?

No, it just isn't economically viable to make fakes in solid gold so they use gold (coloured) plating instead. I don't think there are any good copies of the 38mm Monty. The one in the pics is real. God knows what the buyer will end up with.

It gets more suspicious. The same seller, milosparuzek123 (0), is now selling a Montbrilliant Datora, with pics watermarked from another different user.

Edit: Eureka. I think these pics of these two watches come from the Czech version of an Eastern European auction site named Foow.org.

Maybe this guys is buying real ones from this site an selling them on Ebay.

I seem to recall reading of one a few years ago but it was obviously silly money to pay for a fake.

You can buy solid gold cases/bracelets for Rolex movements on eBay so I would assume you could put a fake movement in.
