Further to a post on another forum a guy asked how to spot fake bracelets and so I made up this post,I thought it also might be of use over here for newbies
Fakes are easy to spot if you know what to look for
1) The cheapest fakes will have screws on both sides thats an obvious giveaway
2) Better fakes have screws on one side and posts on the other but they are rounded
Gen bracelets have flat sections on one side and flat screws as well the fakes are no where near perfect yet but they are getting better
if in doubt its real always ask for close ups of the screws
this is a genuine Pro1 Bracelet with screws they did also come with pins
this is how both sides should look one side screws the other side flat posts
this is a Pro 2 same thing
now a fake Pro 2
Notice how the posts are rounded and sunken its wrong
same thing with the screws rounded instead of flat
One thing to be careful of Genuine Screws WILL fit a fake bracelet so ask to see both sides first not just the screws.
