It looks real to me, although the date alignment might be off. Either that, or it was in transition, but mine doesn't start shifting until after 11:00. That might be something you want to check on when you get it. If it's truly "like new," it shouldn't do that. Also, the dial is not iridescent, as the seller claims. The anti-glare coating will add an element of changing colors, but the dial itself does not have any rainbow-like reflection, like mother-of-pearl. Assuming it's otherwise as he describes, enjoy the watch. You're getting a classic. |

It's real for 2 reasons - (1) it just is and (2) there is no such thing as a fake CSO that even comes close. As for the irridescence, likely referring to the way yhe light forms rays on the guilloched dial. Nothing unique there and certainly not what I would call irridescent - unlike the blue dial SO which truly has an irridescent quality. So hope you enjoy your new to you genuine CSO. Welcome to the club. |

Steve B. ![]() 9 o'clock subdial is running seconds and will always be running when the watch is running. The 12 and 6 o'clock subdials are for the chronograph (stop watch) and are started by the top pusher, stopped by the top pusher again and reset by pressing the bottom pusher when stopped. If you have a manual then read it - it will give you some important information including instructions not to use the quick set date between 8pm and 3am (you should avoid winding time backwards in the same period). |

That's probably the single-most important rule to grasp at the outset, since it's the easiest one to screw up. Repeat: DO NOT ADJUST THE DATE OR ADJUST THE TIME BACKWARDS WHEN THE WATCH IS READING BETWEEN 8PM AND 3AM. If the watch is between 8 and 3, and you don't know if it's AM or PM, adjust the time forward. If the date changes around 12, then you're at night; if it doesn't, you're in the daytime. Enjoy your CSO. Good vibes await. ![]() |

So today I thought I would take out link on my my band, like I have with other watches, eg. Raymond Weil. I took out little screws .......now really not sure about next step. Am I in an area that only a jeweler can do? Please advise. Thanks, Steve B. ![]() |

The bracelet can definitely be done by you. Just be careful not to strip the head of the screws; it's surprisingly easy to do. However, it sounds like you're already past that point. |

There's screws on the one side and flat at other end. Do I have to punch the pins out? I'm missing something. |
