There's a very good rep of this model, but this one looks real to me.

thanks for the input, I have read the articles on fakes and this watch did not display the typical signs of fakes but I know there are some around, I was supplied the information from the service performed at La Swiss in Montreal, once I confirm that info I will be satisfied. The seller was very forthcoming and consistant in his story but you just never know.

Is there any way to confirm and receive confirmation from breitling the watches authenticity.

Lastly are therer any pictures I could post that would reveal any other areas which could confirm or deny it's authenticity.

Tell on these is generally the lume dots, but these look clear enough, I don't think that we need better pictures - just wait for some expert opinions here.

Not sure whether they still do it (I have heard conflicting stories), but an AD used to be able to contact Breitling and give them the serial number and get confirmation that it was valid, which model it belonged to and which country it was first sold in.

Real for me.

I don't think it's real.
Pearl, thinner date font, serial font is different.
Batons SA reps are better than SF, IMHO.

Really?

Those lume dots at 3 and 9 look perfect. Can't see the date font issue, but you have proved before that your eyes are better than mine

Dial logo and caseback logo also look odd.
In one thread pretty long ago, I couldn't point any obvious giveaways for this rep.
Still the same, just the nuances.

Hmmm

Let's hope that the OP can get an AD to run the serial by Breitling.

Yeah, I can't see anything wrong with that - truly scary.

I'm guessing that they aren't all the same serial number either.

Wow. If this SA is a fake than they did a really good job cause im trying to compare the difference on mine and they look the exact same!! The picture bnewbie posted up looks good too!!

I don't think you can ever be sure with the the batons SA unless you have full paperwork.

The only obvious flaw is sometimes the lume dots and these look OK.

I would have said gen but defer to BN's better eyesight and knowledge!
