Hi all,

I'm a new member and I just bought this watch on ebay and was wondering if it is real or fake. I think it's real, but I'd love to have some experts chime in and give me there opinion.

The last tid-bit of information I'd like to give about this watch is that it's supposedly coming from a member of this forum named "Time Bandit".

Let's say everything on the outside of the watch is authentic wouldn't it also be a good thing to get the internals checked out?

It will arrive at my doorstep tomorrow morning, so I still don't have it yet.

Thanks in advance!!
:D

It's real.
I don't think I quite understand your question concerning the insides. Are you saying check it out for normal wear and tear and function or for the possibility of it being fake?

So if the watch on the outside is authentic then is it safe to say that the internal mechanisms that make the watch work are real too?

Well.......no. But I can't imagine anyone taking a genuine and putting a fake movement inside. Make sure the serial number on the watch matches the paperwork (cosc and warranty book) and you should be OK.

:yeahthat

I wouldn't be too worried about the innards with a watch with complete papers.
