These straps turned up on eBay Ireland and I have contacted the seller several times to verify they are genuine Breitling straps but have had no replies which, along with the listings, make me think they are replicas.

Are they?

The Tan strap is probably incorrectly referenced 435X (which should be Black) - there's a batch of them doing the rounds at present (Australia/UK/US) - see previous thread about a week/10 days ago - scammers are purposely not showing the underside in their pictures....

Harder to say on the Diver Pro - if the seller (Feedback score 1) can't be arsed to reply, I'd give it a swerve to save hassle later, and use a trusted Top-Rated e-bay seller like, err, goonermike (me!), who is listing some genuine Diver Pro straps starting tonight - sorry for the shameless plug  , but my Feedback is over 1140, and 100%, and these chancers really piss me off!!!

Mike

As Mike said, first is fake from another auction with black one ref#.
DP also looks fake to me.

Tomas (breanach78),

See this previous thread about this scammer:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=26053

This is his third username in the last 3 months...
1) nickgoldstein100
2) nickg3259
3) artcollector1

Here's another four of his listings, under his first username, which I've just reported:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Breitling-Leather ... 19c2811715
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Breitling-Leather ... 19c2735051
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Breitling-Leather ... 19c286f08c
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Breitling-Leather ... 19c28fcc66

Tricky reporting the Tan Leather this time, as he's not showing the giveaway underside. But I'm going to give it a go, as e-bay can link the usernames he's used.

The Diver Pro is harder to tell, but I'm betting that if his 'genuine Tan' isn't real, the Diver Pro will be an Asian knock off as well.

Might as well report that too... :guns:

Mike

This listing has already been discussed on here:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=26489

Nobody was sure if it was real or fake - I reckon this may have tipped the balance towards the latter....so I'll report it.

The Dublin/Canada conspiracy thickens....:huh
