Thanks for the opinions guys. I agree overall it looks OK but I just had a few problems with it so I wanted some more thought

My first problem was the auction itself. It's advertised as a Chrono Cockpit which of course it's not.

Second was the provenance that accompanies it. The box for a rose gold watch AFAIK, and I may be wrong, should be one of the classier ones and not the regular box. Correct?

Also the manual is for a Chrono Cockpit which may be where the seller got the idea it's a Chrono Cockpit.

It comes with a slide rule card. Do Cockpit's without a Navi slide rule come with one anyway. (I agree with Happy here, it's wrong)

Lastly, my big problem is the water resistance on the dial. On this site, Administrations pictures of Cockpits all have the depth at 300m. The only Chronolog I have at work is a 2009 and also shows the depth of 300m. The watch in the auction shows the depth of 100m. Was there a change somewhere along the way on the Cockpit or is the 100m due to the case material containing gold and not pure 100% stainless steel?

This is a 2007 model. Gold version is 100m/330feet. My 2009 Chronolog shows the gold one's the same.

So is it only 100m on the gold version Happy_Chapie? The SS etc. are 300m in 2007?

Yes that is correct. I guess the cases are a little weaker.
