Hi there, I'm new to the board and I'm looking for some help/advice. I recently bought a Breitling Starliner A71340 for my wife for Christmas off Ebay. I checked out the seller beforehand and he is a 'Top rated seller' with 100% feedback so I felt fairly confident. I received the watch at the weekend but was surprised that it came without the original documents and case (I checked the advert again and it didn't actually state that it did so that was my fault for not checking). I was also a bit suspicious as the second hand has a quartz ticking movement rather that a sweeping one which I was expecting. I checked online and I found a site which said that some Breitlings made between 1970 and 1990 did indeed have a quartz 'ticking' motion rather than sweeping one. In every other aspect it looks the real thing as I've compared all the markings with my own SuperOcean.
Any help would be appreciated before I give feedback on the seller. I'm not sure the rules and if I can just post a link to the watch on here?!
As an aside does anyone know where I could buy a real box for it?
