Collection for sale, all fakes.

Chronomats are I'm sure.

What gives the rest away?

I'm far from an expert, so these may be totally off. Still, I'll take a stab:

1) Chronomat: cardinals are wrong, and subdials are too light.

2) Bentley Motors T (sort of): ticks on slide rule do not go all the way to the rim; subdial layout is wrong, looking more like that of a GT.

3) Chronomat 01: the date wheel looks too sunken, but beyond that, I'm not sure.

4) BEB Blackbird: subdials look like they might have a metallic rim around them, when they should just be depressed/sunken below the dial level. Lume looks a little sloppy on some of the batons. Date wheels look a little out of alignment. Minute totalizer ticks are off. And I can't tell if it's a quirk of the picture, but it almost looks like the subdials might have a guillohe pattern, but I'm not certain of that.

5) Super Avenger: applied logo is all silver, whereas on the genuine one it is two-tone, e.g., one can distinguish between the anchor and the background.

6) Bentley Motors (sort of): same problems as on Motors T above.

7) Navi World: date font looks off, and date wheel is sunken. Beyond that, I don't know.

Am I even close on any of these?

On the BEB, the 9 o'clock sub-dial should have 4 sub-ticks each, it only has 3. and as said above, there shouldn't be a ring around the sub-dials.

I said the same thing (well, I alluded to it), but then I saw on the Breitling configurator feature, it only shows three sub-ticks each. But a picture another member posted showed four, as you said. Has there been more than one version, or is the configurator wrong?

hmm, I was going by the photo the other member posted a while back, can't believe there is more than one version...

I rather doubt it, too. It's just interesting that the fake matches B's own configurator, and the real watch doesn't.

Here's the tells which I look for

1) Chronomat: cardinal ticks

2) Bentley Motors T: 3 & 9 sub-dials wrong way round

3) Chronomat 01: sunken date wheel

4) Blackbird: date window slightly too wide

5) Super Avenger: lume dots more like blobs than flat

6) Bentley Motors: 3 & 9 sub-dials wrong way round

7) Navi World: sunken date wheel

There are other flaws but if you can pick out the main one, there's no need to look for more.

Nice collection of some of the better Breitling replicas but even the best are not perfect!

Shark, what can you tell us about the totalizer ticks on the BB?

Also, on this BEB, the 14,29,31,and 44 sub-ticks are shorter, but if I'm not mistaken, they are all the same size on a legit one, right...

in addiction of the others things, on the Chronomat the brushed bezel is wrong, (to light brush and not circular brushed)... and the pushers are different (see the end of them)

The first three pics below are taken directly from Breitling's website. The fourth is a picture Serge posted. In looking at the 9:00 totalizer, there are two different tick configurations. Can anyone explain this? Ironically, neither of the configurations matches the fake.

All I see is on the 9 subdial on the polished pic there are 4 ticks between 10-15 and 15-20. On the others there are 3.

Except for Sergio's former BEB BB, these are renderings, no? Perhaps the artist missed on the polished rendering.
