Hello everyone!

I have an opportunity to buy a Breitling Chronomat 81950. It seems to me that it is made around 1985, as the plain is engraved on the back of it. It is a pitty i do not have photos of the watch, but the doubt is about the colors of watch. The dial is black, but the subs are white as the case is steel with gold. I could not find a combination like that: it seems subs should be gold or the case should be steel only. It looks like this one but imagine that subs are not gold but white :

and the back looks like that:

What can you tell me about watch like that, and do you know anything about the combination of colors? The condition looks good for me, so how value it might be? The seller wants to get about 600 british pounds. The strap is not original. Is it worth?

Thanks in advance for your time...

Can't really comment on the watch without seeing it. Best source to get some idea of pricing is completed auctions on eBay or take a look at Chrono24 - although they are generally dealer asking prices so sale price will be lower. There are quite a few there now, including some black with white subs - http://www.chrono24.com/en/search/index ... ORTORDER=1

But isn't strange: black dial and white subs and the case is steel with gold... should be or : black dial, gold and steel case and golden subs, or: black dial, white subs and steel case... Will try to get photos...

Would need photos to comment.

Maybe the original buyer ordered a non-standard case/dial combination?

1984 for sure, there may be some 85s with that as well, but most were the wings logo by then.
