please habe a look at the bracelet ob this chronomat http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 3D1&_rdc=1 I´ve never seen such a solid golden bracelet - it looks like a steel pilot Bracelet which was was gold plated - hand have a look at the holes on the side. This looks also strange. gen. Solid golden bracelets should look like these ones: What do you think ? is it a fake bracelet ? http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 3D1&_rdc=1 http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 3D1&_rdc=1 |

I never realized the back of the links of gold bracelets were hollow! It certainly looks different but I don't know enough about bracelets to comment. However, the replica Chronomat "gold" bracelets/case backs I'm familiar with have the same marks as the steel version and this has 750/18k markings. |

I think the whatch and deployant is gen - and the Bracelet itself is just gold plated. they may "opened" the Bracelet (look at the holes at the side) and gold plated the links - you can not gold plate a bracelet in one piece. |

Looks genuine to me. The 22mm crosswind bracelets were hollow at the back to save weight. i'll have to try and find a picture of the 20mm version. |

there are also no codes on the connecting links- there has to be a "Gold stamp" and a number - furthermore the "B" and a different number on the first Link following the connecting link - - but there is nothing. |

We'd better wait for Bnewbie to have a look. The clasp looks very like a 18k deployment i have, but i have one extra hallmark (two triangles) to the right of "Pat Pending" |

The clasp is genuine and gold for sure, but it's ProI clasp, not a Pilot clasp. I've never seen a golden Pilot without being hollow on the back and believe that this Pilot is not 750 gold, although can't be 100%, so I won't report it. |

I’ve not seen that many gold bracelets, believe me I wish I had a couple here to compare and contrast, but those I have seen have all had hollow backs to the links. It reduces the weight and the gold content, and hence the price, of the bracelet. Apart from the wrong clasp, there is another strange thing about the bracelet. It is made up almost entirely of removable links. Other than the end links and the shaped links at the end that reduce the width of the bracelet, it is all removable links, which would make it a lot easier to get the bracelet plated should one wish to. The inside has a brushed finish that is remarkably similar to a steel bracelet. It is all adding up to a steel bracelet that has been plated and had a gold clasp fitted to finish it off, presumably because of the wear rate on the clasp. B'ling |

I would've thought for the premium you pay they'd be solid. Interesting. |
