The seller claims it is from 1976 and has a Valjoux 7733 movment.

The thing is that despite long research on the net I didn't find any similar watch.
Besides what do you think about that seconds hand with the "B" on a 1976 breitling. Did it already exist back then?

The seller ask about $1800 for it, on your opinion does it worth it?

Thanks for your help

Chrono seconds hand is a modern addition. Watch could have some real elements, I would want to know more about it and see inside and outside of caseback. Definitely have suspicions though.

Hi Roffensian,

Thanks for your help.

I got some more details on this watch by the seller.

He claims he bought it in an auction and that it has been valued and certified on this occasion.

The watch comes with its box but without any papers.

I also got 2 more pictures.

All in all I think the watch is a real breitling but has been modified (at least the seconds hand) but does not worth $1800.

OK, that second picture did it - run away very fast.

Just look at the Breitling engraving on the caseback - looks like it was done by a 5 year old.

Shame, because I think that there is most of a real Breitling here.
