They go to all that efforst to make a pretty good dial and case, then slap on something that barely resembles a "B" let alone a Breitling "B." These wacky Chinese guys. |

It's generally deliberate - an attempt to have a 'tell' so that they can say "look, it's not a replica - there's an obvious difference, we did nothing wrong". |

I've never subscribed to this popular belief. IMHO, the makers of the "1:1/Ultimate" replicas do try to get every tiny detail right whereas the makers of the cheap fakes don't care how accurate it looks so long as it says Breitling/Rolex/Panerai/whatever on the dial. Since this Navi has a quartz movement and totally incorrect sub-dials, there's not been any attempt to get close to the real thing. Listing is gone btw. |
