Post subject: | is this Aerospace real or not? |
hello, i purchased an aerospace and am wondering if anyone can comment on what they think. it says on it Chronometre Certifie so that would indicate the year 2006-09 i believe. visually all things match up. my question is, the bezel rotates only one direction, it spins fairly easily and when i wiggle the bezel there is some play between the bezel and the casing. are all aerospaces like this? the band - pro II tiatanium is stamped E130 and on the link is stamped T 17 06 on the back is E79362 and there is another six digit number to the right of the first number i would appreciate any help as i am unfirmiliar with breitlings. thank you for your time. Hi Blake and welcome to the site. The Aerospace replicas are pretty bad so it's pretty unlikely with what you describe that yours is fake. The reference number you gave was used on Aerospace from 2005 to the current model. They do have a unidirectional bezel as well but as to the wiggle I can't say if something is wrong with it as I've never personally handled one. Could it be fake? It's possible. To be on the safe side your best bet would be to post some good pics of the front and back and let the guys on here take a look at it. Elwyn |

Please see my previous post about the Aerospace. Without seeing a picture, I'd say that simple rule is that if it has the inverse LCD panels (Black background, light digits) and the fonts are correct, especially on the top function display (TM TZ CHR, AL), its real. There are a few ropey Aerospace and Emergency fakes that have inverse displays, but they don't look or function correctly eg. four extra pushers on control the functions instead of being integrated to the crown pusher. One thing that doesn't feel right about a real Aerospace that is perfectly ok is the titanium bracelet and buckle feels light and not as well engineered as a steel one. Its also warmer to touch so it almost feels like plastic. |

![]() Simple way to check if an Aerospace is fake is whether it has pushers to operate the digital functions. If it does, it's fake. if not, it's real. ![]() All the ref numbers you quote are correct. The E130 bracelet was made in the 17th week of 2006. There will be a similar tiny 4 digit code between the lugs at 6 which will tell you when the watch was made. E79362 is the model ref for the current Aerospace and the 6 digit number is the serial number of the watch. No doubt whatsoever your watch is genuine. |
