Post subject:  Is this a replica?

Hi, a friend of mine showed me this watch and I believe it's a fake but he maintains that it is genuine. Can anyone help me out I am far from a specialist on these things. Thank You.

Lest there be any ambiguity - yes it is a fake; no it is not even close to a genuine. Fake - yes. Real - no.

I'm sorry - I can't help myself- it just may be the most hideous, ridiculous fake I've seen.

I, I, just can't restrain myself - even if it was a real vintage Ling, what person would want to wear it?? I do believe it's even worse than my Xezo.

:welcome: and :fake:

And as others have said, a bad one. Cheap, Chinese faux chronograph movement which shows days, not elapsed time.

It's a very unusual fake as the back is from a modern Bentley Motors, typical of many cheap fakes, but the dial/pushers layout is trying to be the very rare Pupitre from the 70s. Here's a pic of real one.
