Looking to buy this Chronomat if it is authentic. Advertised as case dia 43mm....thickness 17mm. "Bought" 2003
Initially I thought it may have been a Crosswind but now not too sure when looking at the dial as it says Chronograph Automatic and all the Crosswind I have seen actually say Crosswind on the dial. Sorry but only have the 2 photos. :?:

Any assistance would be appreciated.

It is a Crosswind. Not all of them have Crosswind on the dial and this is a very nice example of one that doesn't. It looks ok to me. It's genuine and I don't see any problems in these two pics. Wait for some more opinions.

Hi Guys

Can i just put a couple of thoughts out there regarding this Crosswind.

The Model number B13355 tells me that the watch should be post 2000 and COSH certified??
The Bezel for this model should have gold riders?
The dial appears to be from the B13055....pre 2000 year models?

Am I being more than a little paranoid :poke:

Steve

Well to be quite honest with you I get a bit confused by the letter aspect of the reference system. I have seen watches in the past that do not fit the criteria as stipulated by the system yet they were genuine. An example may be found in this thread viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16668
Such may be the case with this one as well. One of the other guys can no doubt shed some light on this conundrum.

Watches.co.uk says this is a B13055 which to me would make more sense.

The riders should definitely be gold on a B model.

Someone has swapped them.

Yes.

Yes. Dials are the same. The only difference is COSC - non COSC.

A bit of paranoia is good sometimes. :)

Well guys if experienced Ling owners get confused then G-d help the rest of us

The watches.co.uk photo does seem to be the same model...appart from the gold riders. Maybe it has been tinkered with.

Hi.
If you don't mind the riders and the price is good, why not?

Gentlemen.
I've just come across this thread. I (newbee) bought one of these EXACT models, with the gold riders from a Breitling Jeweller a couple of weeks ago. It had been newly serviced by Breitling, has a new black Breitling leather strap, but no paperwork - (the jeweller in question is highly regarded in my area, N. Ireland so I have no issues with its authenticity - their receipt is good enough for me!). I paid £1895.00 - does that sound about right?
I'm now on the look out for a good, used Navitimer Montbrillant Datora - anyone out there got one for sale?
Whats the going rate for a Dused Datora?
Thanks chaps.

Not really the sort of thing for an 18 month old thread in the replica section, but pricing is covered in the FAQs - #2 - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_faq.shtml#8

You can always post a wanted to buy (WTB) ad in the Buy / Sell / Trade section.
