Just one more question. If purchasing a watch through ebay, will your purchase be protected through their policy until the watch can be authenticated? I did a lot of homework and I contacted the seller. But I still want the peace of mind of having it looked at with a course of action if something is wrong.

That's a question for eBay, but believe me, the watch is real. You stand a much better chance of having a fake identified here than by an AD, and that watch is not fake.

Okay sounds good. I figured you guys would know more than an AD as they probably only have experience with real watches. Well my offer is in and the seller is thinking it over so if he takes it I'll post my pictures. Wish me luck!

I hope that was sarcasm haha. Well the seller agreed to my offer and the watch is on its way! I will post pictures when it arrives. Thanks again guys !

Sorry Newbs, I am old school. You will always be the master to me. Others may be very good (WatchFred, ade113, The Professor of course), but the best still holds the throne. I'm great and glad to be back stirring yhings up. :mrgreen:

nothing in that respect has changed over the years; I know a bit about vintage pieces, but when it comes to spotting the really good "modern" fakes; bnewbie and ade113 are in a class of their own; I'm sure The Professor will agree.
