Thanks for your views I would love to buy it but I think it is a touch expensive bearing in mind there are no papers

Yes, it does look a touch expensive. A few months ago, I bought something very similar (an early 2000s Chronomat with UTC bracelet) from a well known London bricks and mortar watch dealer for £2000.
