No idea if it bears on authenticity, but the "340" on the bezel reminds me of the occasional coin-stamping error.

Thanks, Roff, the more I looked at the bezel numbers, the more it looked a bit off to me. Comparing the "250" to the "350", for example.

That's pretty cool - would be helpful in making sure you're not setting the watch from 8pm - 3am

There was a limited edition of that type watch long time ago, but I cannot really verify, if its a real one. Too long ago, and I have no more pictures of that watch. To verify it, I would need a serial number (but there is a sticker on the back on the photograph...)

Oh, Yes, it was an ugly watch!
