What do you guys think? I thought the serial number should be visible under the model number?

yes it should be, but may have been over-polished in service - it doesn't take much to remove the Serial # - or maybe bought gray market. Either way, it is a real Superocean Professional circa 2003-4.

It could be a 2005 as well. The Pro I bracelet was last produced in 2005 and the Pro II came out in 2006.
