I have placed a bid on a Breitling SuperOcean Heritage on ebay. The seller states that the Model Number is A133320. Having subsequently checked, I cannot find any reference to that model number anywhere else. Have I made a grave mistake?
I already own a Crosswind - bought from a Breitling Jeweller whick I know is the real deal, but this SuperOcean now worries me somewhat? Help!!!

If the watch you are looking at is the one in the link then the seller has just managed to miswrite the model number (which is fairly important to the description! ). If you enlarge the picture showing the caseback you can see the model number is A13320, not A133320 which the seller quotes. A13320 is consistent with the SOH. Additionally you can just about make out a few numbers of the serial number on the case back which matches the COSC cert.

All I would suggest doing is ask him for a close up of the watch serial number on the caseback, and a picture of the inside of the warranty booklet to make sure it all matches. You may as well also ask him to take a pic of the front of the manual to prove it's the right one. Dunno why he's photographed it face down......

Thank you chaps - I spotted that mistake which the seller made just after I posted my query. It's brilliant to see that there's guys like you out there to help 'novices' like me.

:real:

The writing on the dial is slightly out on the replica.

As D8 suggests, check the s/n on the watch matches the paperwork.
