Just when I was starting to think I know something about the brand, I stumbled upon this one.
I know for a fact that it's a replica... but what are the giveaways? I know, it's not the best picture for that, but still... Do you see anything that's off?

Check the 46 second tick mark on the main dial and the missing #11 tick on the 12:00 subdial.
The 46 should be short but it's long and of course there should be an 11 tick.

And date is recessed, it should be up flush to the window. Date looks off centre and wrong font.

Wow. You guys are good. Which #1 is too long? And also, I think the #11 tick is there, it's just a little out of place.

Thank you! Awesome eyes.

EDIT: It's scary... the sucker even comes with a Valjoux 7750.

#1 tick on the main dial. The #11 tick is absent as this was a common error on this Chronomat fake version.

Sharkmouth has a great replica site and specifically addresses the common errors on the Chronomat Evo.

Check it out here.

That's the v1 replica from 4 or 5 years ago. The new ones have corrected the date font and missing 11 mark on the 12 o'clock sub-dial.

The minute ticks are the best way to spot the replicas.

Whilst it was/is possible to buy the replica with a genuine ETA7750 movement, 99.99% have an Asian copy movement.
