Hey guys, what do you think of this?

http://www.qualitytime-watches.co.uk/di ... px?ref=548

Not really considering buying this one, just wondered what a second hand price for this particular ( real deal ) model would be. Also this particular one does not seem to come with the original paperwork ( suppose it would be in the description otherwise ). Is it true then that without the original papers you can never send it to Breitling directly for service/polishing?

Thanks for your time and answers in advance...

Hans

You don't need any paperwork to send a watch to Breitling for a service. It is only needed if you are doing it under warranty. You can also purchase a replacement COSC certificate (if appropriate to the watch) and an instruction book from them when it is in for service.

Ok, thanks alot!!!

Thought they would not accept it without the original purchase paperwork including the AD who sold it first...

Anyway, thanks!!!

And by the way, what do you reckon about that one? Could it be a real deal?

Cheers

Hans

Thanks very much, I actually thought they looked quite good... Just out of interest - what exactly makes you think they are real? Wish I were able to tell as well:)

In the description, they say it comes with some papers, but they do not mention the original purchase papers, guess they do not come with it. Would you ever consider buying these without the papers, even if you knew they were real? Would Breitling really take them in servise or polish?

Cheers,

Hans

After you look at several over a period of time you get to know the flaws of reps. This one is OK. It's genuine.

As far as sending the watch in as IanUK says you don't need the paperwork for service or polishing; only if it's warranty work.

The paperwork is not important to me. Usually you can get a better deal on ebay etc. for a watch that lacks it to be quite honest with you. Be careful however and ask questions here if you decide to do that. There are some very good fakes out there.
