Hello,
I just joined this forum as it seems you are all very knowledgeable about Breitlings. I recently came across this watch and was wondering if you could tell me if it is real or not. It looks like a Breitling Premier, however the only 'logo' on the watch is the "B" stamped onto the crown. There are no other identifying marks, even on the movement. The watch is made out of 18k gold (I have tested it) and has a fully working movement.

Based on the research I have done I would assume it is a replica as there would most likely be identifying marks if it was a real Breitling. I am only trying to get a confirmation on this as I havent seen too many replica's that actually use real 18k gold.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Decent pictures would help, but as one of the 'vintage guys' it's frankenwatch at best.

I'm guessing that because of the female lugs at 12.00 ( 6.00 lugs appear to be drilled),this era of Breitling wouldn't have had a signed crown,so if nothing else is signed, then it probably isn't a Breitling at all.

Sorry about the weak pictures, took them with my phone. Thanks again for the information you guys provided. I was pretty sure it wasn't real from the beginning but just wanted to get a little verification. I will probably just pull everything out of it and melt the gold to be used elsewhere.
