Hi Adam,

Just had a look at mine, the word PUSH is just engraved, not sunk into an oval recess (see photo below). I've heard that one check you can do with the strap is to bend it over on itself, the fakes tend to turn a white colour where they bend while the genuine ones do not, also if you post a few phtos that would help as well.

As Sparwood said, post us some decent quality pics and we'll take a look for you.

Ive never seen a fake ocean racer clasp so I can only let you in on some of my observations. I compared your pics to my clasp and there are a few differences. My "PUSH" font is different (its a hollow/outline font), and there are just a lot of different angles and notches that differ from yours. It could be a design change, or maybe there are variances between clasp sizes (mine is a smaller size). Another thing: between the two buttons on the bars that you are compressing is a small hole. Mine has a metal bar in there, and yours doesnt appear to have it.

Looks ok to me.
Post a photo of the front of the clasp with visible logo.

Please don't double post.

I'm merging this thread with the one that is in the replica section and where you are already getting assistance.

Albeit mine is the brushed clasp it has a deeper engraved outline font for 'push'.

Have a look at this site. It looks very similar to me.

Was it uk ebay. I saw some on there for £175 ? Thought they may be the same ones.
There is also a guy selling 100% gen deployment clasps that are not. He will refund though.
