As I promised before, I am posting feedback on my transaction with mhopton07. I bought AS from him, from this sales thread:

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8671

As you can see from the thread, it got little heated after bnewbie suggested he could post some pics, however it did not prevent me from proceeding with transaction.

I have mixed feelings from all of this, so I will state facts:

The watch was supposed to come with full paperwork, however COSC and manual were not in the box when it arrived. I emailed the seller asking him about it and he replied that he thought they were in the box. He was to email the dealer and let me know. After I have not heard from him for several days I started this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9295

Everybody can see how it went, the thread is now locked.

It is true that mhopton07 offered me refund. The fact is also that he offered me the refund about 2 hours before he attacked me and others in the thread above. The thread was running for 6 days at that moment, so it was not like I was not responding to his offer and in the meantime spreading bad word about him in this thread. The fact is I made up my mind quite quickly to keep the watch and did not post to forum again until I responded to him as well. The fact is I apologised to him and deleted one maybe a little inappropriate comment I made before.

In the end I do not think I was suggesting anything, I was just curious what are the possible causes of COSC certificate and manual to be missing. In that way I don't see the thread to be offensive to mhopton07 in any way (my opinion) and I don't understand his reaction.

In the end I kept the watch, since it is mint and with warranty certificate, even though I still find it hard to believe that I was the first one to notice the missing COSC and manual. But that is just my opinion.
