Also known as Keith..

Thanks

Alan

It is not my responsibility if the package decides not to show up.

You did not pay for insurance.

You better close this up."

Richard…

I paid through Paypal as protection.

You decided to send the SA bracelet untracked/uninsured without offering either option as an extra to me.

I have messages to you over the last weeks asking for tracking/proof of postage, with little response from you.

I am amazed/doubtful that an intelligent man would send a $330 item untracked, (and after your response on paypal (finally)) I am beginning to doubt your honesty.

As the item has not arrived I believe I am protected by Paypal (that is what we pay them for).

I hope that I do not need to upgrade this dispute.

Your tone “You better close this up” suggests dishonest intent to me, I hope that I am wrong.

Afraid that I have had to upgrade this to a claim.

Hi BN,

Thanks for asking.

PP found in my favor (he had no tracking proof just proof of posting something to someone. Could have been anything, and he had the cheek to call me a fraud!).

Now I just await the money being refunded.

I am going to post ref to this on the other Breitling Fora.

Whether he is a bad guy or not he certainly will not get any more buys from me.

Best

Al

Why PP didn't refund you?

Looks like he is using two user IDs:

Richard_Nilsson
London_Calling

The first has not visited the site sice mid December, the second since mid January.

Clearly this now breaches admin's rule that a user can only have one ID, although that rule wasn't in place at the time (but why would you need two????), I'll get in touch with admin.

I always hate it when deals go wrong as it always gets messy and it spoils your online experiences

Thanks Roff (will Admin do the IP check just in case he has joined as a third "member" (not the word I had in mind)).

PP will only guarantee refund if the item is bought through ebay. In this case they found in my favor but he has no funds in his PP account as soon as any funds hit his account they come to me.

This is a classic case indicating that one should always use a CC on internet purchases - lesson learnt the hard way for me.

dont want to spoil your day mate but he may have more than one paypal addy so he may never use that account again so you may never get your money back, and the no funds excuse is a lie as thye can put you in a negative if they want, but that means they are paying out and may never get their money back. Did you phone paypal and explain the situation as I find they are much more helpfull when talking person to person.

I know about the dual paypal acounts as I used to have two non buisness accounts and they limit you to £2500 of transactions a month and when I was buying and selling laptops I sometimes went over that so had to split the money between both accounts.
