I've called around a couple of ADs and I get the same thing: The price is the retail price and there's no negotiation per Breitling's rules.

But yet I have gotten at least one good price from another AD.

So I'm kinda confused. Anyone care to explain why/how this can happen?

Thanks,
Mike

When you say called round I assume that you mean on the phone. If so, they have no clue whether you are serious, a mystery shopper from Breitling, a competitor, etc.

Go into a store, show interest in a watch, then ask what the best that they can do is and you'll get a different reaction.

You are right, of course...which makes me wonder how the most obvious answer is the one that I didn't think of.

I guess this is one item you have to pound the pavement for and can't just "phone it in".

Thanks,
Mike
