Has anyone had either a positive or negative experience with Jomashop. I know they sell grey market Breitling's but would appreciate any input. Thanks,

They are great, although I tend to prefer Authentic Watches due to the fact they ship via FedEx not UPS and their customer service is top notch. I live in a large apartment building and I'm usually not available for signature and customer service at UPS, IMO, is lacking. I'm always forced to call 3 different people and eventually track it down at a UPS store a few days later. With FedEx I can pick it up at a local store that night. Both are fantastic and you should have no worries whatsoever purchasing from either. They are definitely my top two grey dealers.

i ordered a watch from them that never showed up and took me a month to get my money back. never again.....

on the flip side, i have had many positive experiences with the trusted sellers on this site.

Its common for them to sell stuff they don't have and then they try to source it. Make sure it is actually in stock before ever considering grey market.

Not just watches that they don't have, watches that don't exist - they use renderings and just change out the dial colours including combinations that were never produced. My wife found a Cockpit Lady on Jomashop that they liked and I had to get it done as a custom order by Breitling because it wasn't a production piece.

I tried purchasing a watch from them 3 weeks ago but they never responded to any of my emails I sent them. They were selling a watch as "brand new with tags", however, the pics didn't show any papers. I sent them 3 emails asking if the watch came with full papers since it was listed as "brand new with tags" and not "new without tags", but never got an answer. That tells me a lot about their customer service.

I have inquired at Jomashop before and have had bad customer service experience. I know that however if you want a watch from there site, you should call to order it and make sure to ask if it's in stock, or you could be waiting a long time for it to arrive.
If it were me I would go through either Prestige Watches or Authentic Watches.

Or just buy from a forum sponsor

Justin is 100% correct. Govbergs is a great AD, and can get pretty much any Breitling you want, and for a very good price and with the factory warranty. It's much less of a headache down the road if you ever need service or anything.

I can second that opinion...I was thinking about Jomashop (off pricing alone) and after reading literally hundreds of threads on Grey vs AD decided to pursue the local AD route. I decided the extra $$ for the authentic Breitling e-warranty was worth it vs a third party warranty. I had a price I liked locally (about a 2 week wait to get the SA2), but decided to call Govberg before finalizing things to see if it was in stock and inquire on pricing. I called Govberg on 1/6 @ 11am to check on an SA 2...it was in stock and matched local price. I wired the funds an hour later and I had an overnight tracking number by 1:30 pm on 1/6 (literally 2 hours after I called to simply check on pricing/stock) and the new piece arrive on 1/7 at 3pm. Govberg is top notch...moral of story give the forum sponsors a shot and I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

Cheers,

-Nick

I bought what I thought was Tag 1887 from Jomashop last month (March 2014). Upon receiving the watch, I took it to a jewler to make sure that it was authentic and they told me that it was a Chinese fake. I immediately called and received a RMA number for the return and sent it back via their instructions. They have since wrote me saying that they would not credit because they said I had worn it, which was absolutely not the case. I have gone to my credit card company to file a claim and I would recommend that everyone should stay away from purchasing from this dishonest company.

This has been one of the most frustrating experiences dealing with this company and I hope this note prevents others from having to go through the same thing I did. #jomashopfake, #dontbyfromjomashop

*The jeweler is a family friend who has been in the business for 30 years and has no incentive to steer me in the wrong direction.
