Stopped by the BB in Singapore last Saturday. Its the newest (4mth old!) and also second largest (after NYC) BB to date. Had a lovely chat with the manager who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable (as you'd expect!). Great place to spend some time, pic up new info about the current range and maybe even make a purchase! Highly recommended. You can't tell directly from the pics but there's also a 'fitting room' off to the sides with comfy couches and chairs. |

They're creating quite a shopping experience with this one. Fitting rooms are interesting, and I guess that takes away the notion of fitting at the counter. Interesting counter displays too and might be explained by the fitting room arrangements. Were the display cabinet tops glass or poly? Display lighting is discriminating to my eye, as there is an emphasis on certain parts of the display and the recognition of same through light vectoring. B of B on the end wall is marked out for special attention. Halo lighting elsewhere is a good way to calibrate customers eyes for both the monitor/displays and the eventual watch displays below. Excellent Idea. Looks to be a fine shop. |

The display cabinets were top notch. They seemed more 'safe' like than a regular display case - I remember an exposed metal frame and solid glass construction. Very impressive and a nice finishing touch. I found the new artwork as similar to Roy Lichtenstein? but the manager explained its a new American artist that Breitling have commissioned. The new Breitling Bentley Light Body in Midnight Carbon or Green held my attention greatly and yes they get pride of place right next to the front door. |
