I just completed a second transaction with George from Govbergs and it was a great transaction. Watch arrived overnight and in better condition than I expected, package even included original receipt. Great price, great service, overall excellent transaction.

So you finally ordered a G Shock from George?

Another PO 8500. The preowned values are now under $4k, this watch may be one of the best 'values' on the watch market right now. In-house movement, silicon balance spring, ceramic bezel, double AR coating, great water resistance. All around great functional watch for the money.

Looks awesome, I was trying one of those on today at an AD. I agree, that watch really does represent a great value, especially in the used market.

I really contemplated buying that one when I saw it posted since I know that was a great deal. I'm glad it was able to go to a fellow forum member on here. Enjoy!

I thought it was too good to be true, but it arrived in mint condition, looks almost unworn. I think you'd like an 8500, gives the SubC a good run. I wish it had a SubC type clasp on it, that's the only thing i'd change.

How does it wear/fit with it being substantially thicker than the 2500 version ?

Wears well, kinda on the heavy and thick side but that's ok. 42mm fits me well.

Indeed it was a great deal. These PO 8500s are starting to become super value. Congrats again Sergio!
