Hi All,

I am interested in purchasing a Breitling in the near future. My budget is around $10k. I live in the NY metro area so my options would appear to be one of the Tourneau stores or possibly the Boutique on 57th Street. I was interested to hear the experiences of anyone who has been to these places recently and whether they had any luck negotiating on price / tax etc. I gather it used to be commonplace to do this but now is a bit tougher (and in some cases impossible). I'm sure the watch will be worth it and dont really mind paying the full amount but would be kicking myself if i later found out I could have got 20% off.

NB: I realise I could probably buy on the web for 20% less but autheticity is important to me so I have decided to go via an AD.

Thanks in advance.

And you can save on sales tax and have the watch shipped to you.

The places in NY are fun to browse in but awful to purchase in. Little or no discount and high sales tax. As others said govberg is the way to go
