Just a fair warning out to this great community. I would NOT trust member named 'autoexotika' who goes by the name of Lorenzo Calce.

He agreed to buy my Super Avenger, then he pulled numerous stunts and lies. Luckily, I never ended up sending him the watch because of my suspicions, so I wasn't scammed, but I would never deal with this guy for the following reasons:

1) He wants to pay via PayPal, but the account isn't verified and it isn't under his name. He claims it's his mother in-law.
2) He wants to pay via credit card but it's not his credit card. He claims it's his wife's card.
3) He also says he'll pay via PayPal using the "gift option" since I was weary of credit card payments because of possible chargeback. He claims this will be 100% safe for the seller. This is simply NOT true if you do your research, as well as being against PayPal rules.
3) He wants to declare a lower value for the watch for customs purposes. This is illegal.

So after I told him numerous times I cannot make a deal with him happen with all these things, he says he'll bank wire me the funds and I can ship to his "uncle" in U.S. I reluctantly agree. Then this morning, he sends me an email saying he sent the money to my account. I ask him for the Fed ID for the tracking number and he replies with this (profanity has been censored):

"I sent you ZERO
you f*cking paranoid fa*got
Next time you make me waste my time ill spit in your ugly face.
F*cking TROLL"

So this is my experience with this member. I would hesitate to do get in any transaction with this guy. Beware.

Actually the censored version is:

"I sent you ZERO
you (bleep!) paranoid (bleep!)
Next time you make me waste my time ill spit in your ugly face.
(bleeeep!) TROLL 8)

Good call...

I looked at some of his posts. He apparently deals a lot in purchasing/selling watches. You would figure he would understand your concerns. I saw a lot of "removed by Roff" so apparently he has problems following rules. To me, there is never an appropriate time to say what he said. He's just a classless individual. I have a stronger opinion, but I'll keep that to myself. Sorry you had to deal with someone like that here.

same opinion, keeps listing new sales threads that Roff has to combine, never "gives" to the forum in any way but uses us to evaluate his merchandise & to peddle his wares. find the wording of his message quite unacceptable.

not the nicest of our forum members, to put it mildly

Hey guys, thanks for all of your feedback/input. I strongly agree with all of you guys when you say that he's a classless individual who doesn't "give" to the forum, but just takes for his own gain only. He may or may not be a scam artist, but he has questionable characteristics and I would not deal with him again. And I'm actually getting negative feedback from others as well; just Google his name.

To be fair, I don't have as high post count as many of you guys and can't contribute as much since I still consider myself a newbie to this wonderful world of watches. But I always respect the members and opinions of this forum. There's a strong sense of community on this forum and I really appreciate that. Thank you all.

See my other post about a positive experience.

My transaction went smoothly enough considering that we're at opposite ends of the planet!

I would deal with autoexotika again.
