Hi Sherlock,

Deal didn't go through, sadly. At first he couldn't source one from his AD contacts since Breitling has already discontinued the CA.

He then went to other dealers and quoted me for $2600, unfortunately the dealer contact's secretary sent the M1 instead.

I cancelled the deal, got the refund on my visa, and had second thoughts. I pulled the trigger again with timepiece perfection but he didn't want to do the deal on the price he quoted since he'll loose money (he had to send back the M1 to the dealer at his cost).

Its not meant to be to get my CA again.

Thats a real shame, he seems a genuine bloke and if he gave a full refund thats good.
Don't give up maybe you'll find one soon.
I'm still wondering whether or not to get an Avenger or not, oh decisions, decisions, decisions. :lol:

The CA is good, the only 'bad' thing are the lume.. would think that the arabic numerals would be lumed right but only the tiny dots at the outer part of the dial are lumed :-(

The only thing about the CA is the "stuff" on the face! :D I like a clean face like my omega seamaster, but i still don't know? :?

I was looking at the blue/yellow dial.... leaning on the yellow as it looks really sharp!
