Had an unexpected but nice visit to Northeastern Fine Jewelry today. It's in Albany, NY near the Crossgates Mall. By chance, we were visiting in-laws and I was curious to see if there was an AD around - sure enough, as we were leaving the mall, my wife pointed it out.

It's a smallish store but really nice. I can say, without a doubt, that this was the nicest experience I ever had with an AD - in person. They were so helpful, gave me a chronolog, and showed me and my wife a bunch of watches. Although they did not have a huge selection, they carry a bunch of different brands in addition to Breitling - Cartier, IWC, Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and several others.

Anyway, if you are in the area, it a great AD to check out - glad I went in, and I am sure I will buy something from them in the future, even if it's just jewelry for my wife.

PS - fell in love with the Montbrillant Olympus while I was there!

Thanks for the referral - that's a great range of brands. The Montbrillant Olympus is something special, isn't it? Pity it's been discontinued.

Yes, not-quite-subdued sophistication. Beautiful. I wish it were a little thinner to fit under my shirt sleeves. That and a see through case back would make it perfect.
