Post subject:  Website Scam Alert

I just wanted to post this as a heads up to the folks here on the forums. I ran across this website advertised on this site, through the ad links server. I went to the site and found a couple of Rolexes I liked, however my red flags were alerted when they only offered payment through check, money order, or wire. I ordered a couple of them at any rate, but I had not paid for them as I had some reservations about them in the back of my mind. They finally replied to my email query after about 4 days, using the excuse of being out of town for a few days. I still was not comfortable and after I tried to log onto their website again I got an error message and my emails got bounced back to me. This all really sent my alert status in high gear so I did a little investigating and to my surprise I found they were a major scam. Thank goodness I did not send them any money and did not fall victim to their scam. I have included the link to the website as well as the link for complaints. They go by a couple of other names as well according to the information I found on them. After visiting both md-time.com and rolex24h.com I found that the md-time.com site was identical to the time-24.net site and the rolex24h.com site did not come up due to the fact it does not provide any identity information, so just a heads up folks....beware!!

Thanks for the heads up - I think these sites or one of their permutations came up here before. A mint 4 year old sub for $1,700? As always, if it's too good to be true, it's not true.

:yeahthat

Hey Sharky...yes sir I did a search on the site to see first if there was anything about them, but did not find anything and figured I should probably alert folks anyhow. I agree about that "Too good to be true" cliche...was worth checking out at any rate for good or bad. Any respectable web-biz site does not normally only accept cashiers cks, personal cks, wire transfers either...usually they also allow Paypal or other forms of electronic fund transfers and credit cards. That was one of the main flag raisers for me for sure, but it cost me nothing to do a little digging and hopefully this post will save at lease one person's hard earned money. Every once in a great while that "Too good to be true" is actually true, but rarely.....too bad too on this one....that would of been a great pick-up for sure.
