Thank God when I bought my Chronomat, I used an AD. Too much money to take a chance I thought.....turns out I was right. The Ling is fine, so no issues there.

In early 2009 I bought a much less expensive ($600) watch from Jomashop, the crown just fell out (what?), and it's still within their 2 year "warranty". I have a couple of 30 minute on hold sessions this week and have sent 2 emails which were simply ignored. Basically they aren't even trying to help me, and it's frustrating. $600 is pretty insignificant in the world of watches, but I occasionally wear it, I like it, I paid for it, and want it fixed. I guess I will just take it to a local shop.....if anyone knows a good place in OC or LA please PM me.

My point is obvious: If I was getting ignored by some website after spending several thousand bucks on a luxury piece, I would be going CRAZY. This forum is filled with grey market horror stories......let me add one more log to the fire.
