Glad ye guys worked this out, personally i could never get past a threat like that, not to mention the sheer immaturity of the "my daddy :popo: will come sort you out" comment.

I am merely expressing my vehement disapproval-Sellers in future can make their own assumptions on whether this member is bone fide. I am glad the author posted this caveat and it exemplifies the purpose of the feedback section.

Sorry to come late, but I wanted to let all involved know this is my new all time favorite BS thread. I never thought "Is Breitling a good brand to trade for resources in a natural disaster" would be topped.....but "don't make my Dad log on, he will fix everything, he's a police officer, really, don't test me"....is the new clubhouse leader. No offense, but WOW!

I think you underestimate the usefulness of an accurate time piece in a situation as mentioned. :|

:yeahthat When the fourth rider on the fourth horse is running amuck and the starving, murderous masses are beating down my doors for the last morsels of manna, I shall strap on my Blackbird, burst onto the balcony, thrust my left arm into the air, and bellow "Be Gone Heathens!"

That should work.

The BB on rubber might just be the perfect post-apocolyptic watch. The compass bezel will come in handy in this new world

hi,with reference to the rather spoilt person whose old man is a police-person,i have been taken for a ride by a scam that is very similar to the watch-strap saga. This was on ebay when a person who purchased a "Seiko quartz"from me mailed me to say that the strap was to small. Because the customer is always right(on ebay they are god) i offered a new one.this must have really aggrevated the punter because he then told me that the day-cog was broken + to repair it + fit new battery + pressure test the watch cost £25 and was i going to pay the bill. I offered a full money-back +p+p refund but declined the offer to pay the bill. Next thing the watch has developed scratches all over the face and body, which were not there when pics.of the watch were put on my auction site nor when it was posted to customer.strange how these faults were not mentioned in the initial complaint. The watch appeared to get sicker with every e-mail. Iwas lost for words so did not even reply, the almost brand-new watch had only sold for £23 (it was immaculate when sent to buyer).(wait for it)next thing a complaint is started against me + i receive red f/back,so i wrote to the con merchant telling him to shove the watch, gave a full refund and told him to just leave me alone.i still have the bad f/bac + am short about £35.the same week i got red f/back from somebody telling me there was a hole in a painting i sold them, same thing full refund + i got pic back,no hole in it but got another bad f/back. This,i think is a little known but probabally widley used scam. As for your watch-strap incident all i can say is absolutely nothing except why on earth do you send items on approval in this day + age.also the person being a law-mans child does not say a lot for the integrity of the police. i think that anybody who pays over£2,000 for a watch is in plain language ,a nutcase + i would welcome a visit from daddy to tell him so,bye, skullduggery
