So all this "nattering" about whether the warranty card is signed, stamped, completed etc. etc. etc. sounds 4 old ladies arguing over who had what for lunch when the waiter brings the the bill instead of one of them just picking up the tab.

Aaah, but nattering about the stamping of a warranty card can while away HOURS of time Ling Man. By the way, what did you have for lunch today? I hope you split that bill correctly!

Driver8,

As usual I just grabbed the tab and paid it. And as always one of the other fellows will grab it next time. By the way, have you had any luck getting LING to start producing the 48 MM 2 tone Evo yet ?

No news on the 48mm TT Evo yet, as I only sent the results of the poll off on Friday. I'm expecting nothing more than a polite "thanks for your time" from Breitling, but you never know.....

They've gotta wheel out a 48mm TT Evo at some point soon! I need one with a black dial, rose gold bezel and rose gold Roman numerals. I'd probably have to stick it on a black croco strap, but I'm sure you'll let me off that one Ling Man.

Driver8,

You may be surprised what their reaction is. If they actually look at this forum and read what the guys here are saying they may take notice. If they have half a brain they would see that this forum consists and true Ling Maniacs that spend time talking about what they like, what they don't like and what they would like to see. And they should pick up on the fact that the guy's here are not just your average Ling admirers. As far as putting the DREAM 2 tone Evo on a Croco strap when the new 24 MM lug width 2 tone pilot bracelet would be available ? Well, all I can say is if I see that happen I will be flying to the UK, I will find you and SEVERE PUNISHMENT will be forthcoming !

Now you're just teasing me Ling Man!

I'd have to see it in the metal to make a final judgement as while I love TT cases, I'm not a huge fan of TT bracelets. I'd be prepared to be persuaded though.....

But unless Breitling pull their finger out and MAKE the damn thing, this is all a moot point anyway..... UNFORTUNATELY!

Driver8,

Here we go again, we went through this with you just about 8 months ago with the size issue. Once again, trust me when I tell you that 2 tone bracelets are GREAT and they belong on 2 tone LINGS. And what is especially great about the EVO 2 tone bracelet is that they have the Breitling wings on the clasp in Rose Gold too. It's really a cool little feature. I have an old 2 tone Chronomat with a 2 tone bracelet, and another thing you get to enjoy when you start wearing a 2 tone is when you switch back and forth between the 2 tone and all steel watches. You go along for a few weeks with your 2 tone and then pull out your Super Avenger and it really looks different to you and a good change of pace. It provides a sharper CONTRAST in the variety department.

Well, after my general levels of past hypocrisy, I can't very well say "never" now can I!

Hi

I recently bought a Montbrillant from Interwatches & was well impressed with the service.

My only gripe - and it's a big one - was that they cut he last page out of the warranty booklet. I did email & have a moan but they didn't seem to care! I pointed out that they did not say that this was going to be done in the auction or anywhere in the terms and conditions. I was well aware that the warranty was with them but this was not mentioned.

I wanted the watch for myself - not to sell - but it spoiled the experience for me - the watch is incomplete - also if & when I sell it in a few years (after the original warranty would have expired anyway) it will be a black mark against it.

Maybe this was done 'cos I'm in the UK.

Overall I would have given them 10 out of 10 (despite Fedex being worse than useless) but as it is I reckon 8/10 is being generous.

Best to ask all the questions they don't answer in the auction - if you can think of them that is.

Just got a Colt Automatic from Interwatches and want to share a pleasant experience. Package was well packed, watch was wrapped in plastic and all documentation present. Warranty card was stamped by an AD and I still got 23 month of warranty.

How many of you who bought from Interwatches.com had it sent to Breitling to check if it was authentic or not ?

They are authentic for sure. Train your eyes and you'll be able to see a difference between a real one and a fake.
