See post below, bought this bracelet on Breitlingsource.com on the 15th of June and supposedly it was mailed to me. He bumped it up just a week ago, after it was supposed to be "in the mail." Obviously it never arrived, "lost in the mail," given a bogus tracking number too.

Wow, that sucks. I know a lot of guys on other forums and here that have done deals with him. I think sub24g knows him personally.

I'm in Dallas (where he's from), I can try and contact him for you and hopefully get this resolved.

I have known chris for a long time and he has always been a stand up guy and veteran of the armed forces that protect our country. I'm sure whatever issue went down he has corrected it and I presonally spoke with him today about it. His version of the story doesn't sound like a scam to me, but rather a mix up on an address. He actually had 2 bracelets for sale, a ti pro 1 and a ss pro2. The pro2 actually came from me as I purchased it new from the AD. And I know he had both because I have seen them in person.

And I was told this should be a non issue as a refund was given already. If that is true, then this post is useless and slandering.

Slander is verbal. You mean libel.

Refund was given to me by my CC company, not by Chris. Lots of things just didn't ad up to me. I asked what the end piece #'s were and he said" I made him get his glasses to see it," but he was out of town and his wife would have to mail it to me. If he had the bracelet with him, why did his wife have to send it because he was out of town?

Then after numerous attempts to contact him and get the tracking info I was told the "green" postal form was at his office. A few days later I get a text of a picture of a "white" postal form with a tracking # the PO has no record of. Then I look on Watchuseek and a week after he sold me the bracelet and I paid in full, he "bumped" it to the top of the strap for sale section. Why bump it if it has already sold?

Just the facts not slander. BTW I have been defending my country for the past 22 years myself. Not really sure why that was so important in the post above, just thought I would throw it out there too.

Joe, I am honestly really surprised to have even seen this after talking to you on the phone and in text messages.

I could not reply to this sooner, my blackberry would let me log in and then stayed at a white screen.

As far as the bumping on another board. I had two bracelets listed, and apparently bumped the wrong one.
I will make sure they are both marked sold here in a few minutes.

The offhanded comment " I have to get my glasses out for this, I must be getting old" was a problem for you?

I went out of town prior to you and I completing a transaction. And per our discussion on the phone, I told you I was not going to put this off on her, and if you did not receive it, I was taking responsibility for it, and making sure you would get a refund.
The "green form" is for delivery confirmation and the white one I sent you is for the insured mail one.

The majority of things we mail for ebay, etc, use the green one not the white one. You honestly are making more of this than really is/was neccessary.
I cannot and will not try to explain the USPS. Some things show up timely on their website, some never do.

You have your money back. I do not see a problem.

And finally, I have mailed/shipped/delivered successfully, several watches worth several times what this bracelet is worth.
I guess I will need to have them post on here as well.

And lastly, thank you for your service, and I am sorry this did not go as planned.

And let us not forget to point out that usps sucks.

I have had packages mailed from austin to dallas, a 3 hour drive mind you, sent via priority mail that took 9 days to receive and the delivery worthless confirmation number never showed up. Ever. And it was a $3000 watch! And I have had others show up 2 months later. Tracking never showed but the postal stamp was correct. 2 months.

Usps has a track record about as good as my ex wife. And that ain't good.

Just my personal opinion, but when someone is willing to address the accusations in a forum like this, as opposed to just changing user names...i gotta believe it was an honest mix up.

Plus...Dont you know all of us Texans are honest folk?

Wow! Tex-ASS is all over this site today.

I've had stuff from USPS with the correct tracking # and still not in the system.

Sounds like someone got his panties in a bunch over a mistake and then started looking for clues to validate the conclusion. BUT HECK - we've all done that!

As I stated previously, just the facts as I understand them. Here is a little support for my side, for a change from someone who actually tried to buy something from him. He contacted me about this isue when he saw my "beware" post.

BTW I am done with this thread, I just wanted to help out the next guy who bought something and had it get "lost" in the mail.

Ok Thought I was done with this thread but I have been contacted by 2 more people about this guy. He even got banned from another Forum for leaving Positive feedback about himself under a different user name, same exact IP address and got caught. I guess it took me this long to "un-bunch my panties." See link in quoted post above.

Wow, evidence seems to surely and continually appear against him. Go figure!
