I just recently bought a my SA from Yorkdale and had a really good experience with susie. I wish I could say the same thing for when my wife walked in to the store yesterday.

She went there yesterday as I asked her to go in and try on the superocean heritage 38 as I am seriously considering buying the his and her combo. She went in and the sales rep (susie was not there) that was supposed to help her did not take the watch out the display but rather pointed at the watch in the window and brought out the book and showed her the picture.... "saying here is the watch that is in the window". damn wish i was there so i could put her in her place!!!!

WTF- you expect someone to spend thousands on a watch by just looking at a picture when the watch is right there. I am disgusted by this, and may very well NEVER do business there again. I will however bring this up to Susie when she is back next week. I had plans on purchasing 3 more watches from them.. These guys need to get their act together and treat people with respect.

sorry for the rant guys, but yorkdale is gonna have to earn my business back, and i can tell you it won't be easy...

If you want to send me the details by PM I'll talk to Sousi (or give you her number). They do have a few staff challenges, which is why I always point people to Sousi only.

Roff, Thanks..

Sousi was who i bought my SA from based on your recommendation, she was great to work with and met my wife as well. its not like this location as not seen my wife before. We always ask to speak with Sousi but she was told that Sousi will not be back until next week Friday.

She was already in the store and wanted to try on the watch, she was treated like a criminal. I will definitely speak to Sousi about this upon her return as I know she is the store manager, however, they need to put a quick stop to this as they will surely lose plenty of business. Lucky for the sales rep, my wife is much more nice then I, If this would have happened to me, they would not hear the end of it... including a formal complaint to Breitling regarding how they conduct business and put their brand at risk.

As I like Sousi, i will give her the benefit of the doubt to rectify the issue.

I can guess who your wife spoke with.

It won't come as news to Sousi, but she definitely needs to hear it. Unfortunately it's one of the symptoms of Grigoros ownership, but don't get me started there. I just wish that they were a public company so that I could do something about it!

Vote with your feet. Lots of other people will happily sell you the watches you want. It's pretty much the only way to get a business to listen.

I will also express my angst for dealing with La Swiss. I live in Vancouver, and did not have a found experience dealing with them when I was shopping for my Navi World. So much so, that I took my business to the fine people at Time & Gold. David there was totally hospitable, non-pressuring and very friendly and knowledgeable.

I will state, that the person from the Pacific Centre La Swisse was transferred from their recently closed store in Richmond, and maybe not a fair representation of the store as a whole.

if this continues, I will write a formal complaint to Breitling HQ on how their AD's conduct business... hopefully stir the pot a bit.

:yeahthat

I have had the very same experience with La Swiss in Vancouver, I would never buy another thing from them, I found them to be very pushy and almost rude, so much so that I don't even feel comfortable going in there to browse around. For that reason I will be picking up my new ocean racer strap for my steelfish from Time & Gold tomorrow, they are top notch in my books.

From what i know souie doesn't allow her co-workers to sell breitling or even worst discuss final pricing. I myself had a horrable time at yorkdale ,But if you want amazing service and knowledgable staff you should go to Square One or Fairview La Swiss. La Swiss on bloor there flagship store is excellent too.

:guns: SCREW LA SWISS.... The company has horrible customer service and they sell watches they don't even stock... The Canadian distributor of Breitling that owns La Swiss is horrible too... They have done nothing to rectify my problem and the person that has been emailing me back and forth has been no help ...

I have been lied to for the last 5 months about an SA that I purchased in Dec that is still apparently on B/O which is bullshit.

If you want a Breitling and you live in Canada go accross the border and grab one.. The dollar is at par and the service here sucks..

If you buy at La Garbage you will regret it.. Trust me...

Sousi certainly has some staff challenges at Yorkdale - can you blame her for not letting other staff deal with closings? Don't agree with your assessments of all the other stores, although to be fair Bloor has got a lot better since a change of management last year.

As for the large font post, well to be fair, there are good stores and bad stores - and you had a bad one.

Grigoros is an embarassment and if it weren't privately owned then I would have tried to do something about it by now. The largest problem is that the stores compete with one another for sales and so you can easily get a situation where one store sells a watch that is in stock at another store and then have the branch manager of the other store claim that the watch is on hold for a custoemr just to screw the first store out of a sale (at some point the customer seems to get lost here!).

I think that there are some very good people at La Swiss, but they are working in a very bad organisation and with very low quality staff.

All that siad, I have bought a lot of Breitlings in Canada, all from La Swiss and I am treated like a king. But I only deal with one person who knows what they are doing.

To be fair, i have been a patron of la swiss for a few years now, previously at the Bloor location, and recently at the Fairview one for convinence, and i have never had an issue with their customer service at either locations. I will still be going back to them for my next purchase.

it all depends on who you land on at la swiss. i checked out la swiss in montreal twice.the first time i went in with my wife and the salesman had absolutely no interest in selling me a breitling.he wouldnt even take it out of the display case, and when my wife asked why we cant see the watch, he said its store policy.we laughed and left. months later i just popped in the same location just to look around,i was dressed in a track suit, cap very sporty and i happened to fall on a lady who actually knew alot about breitlings.to my surprise she was practicaly forcing the watches on my hand.too bad i wasnt ready at that time to buy because she was awesome .
lesson to me was same store two complete different experiences .when a compagny has too many locations they cant offer service as a single owner a.d.

oh and the selection at la swiss wasnt too great!but the lady offered to bring any model i was willing to see . as for price they were only able to give deals on in stock items any orders were at almost retail.sorry la swiss im no fool!found another a.d. in montreal with triple the inventory than la swiss.

Placed an order in July for a new Avenger, was told the watch is not in stock custom ordering from Breitling, will be ready in September. It is now November and they keep giving me the run around. Now they say it will only be in around Christmas. Is it Breitling or La Swiss/Grigoros that has the issues with timing. Ready to take my moneny back and go elsewhere!

Very unhappy with the service.
