Yep, just picked up a Chronomat Evolution from a brand new tax-free AD in Gibraltar. Forget discounts, these guys mark their RRP @ UK list less about 20%. Slick operation, two bald-headed, fast-talking Asian brothers run the show and they stock a huge inventory of The World's Best Watch Brand, from Steelfish to SuperAvengers, Chronomats to Navitimers. I fell in love with a steel/Argent Chronomat Evolution, UK RRP is close to £4,700 and I paid a tad over £3k for it. I'm well pleased and have no hesitation in recommending these guys for their service, their incredible product knowledge (given they've only been open for like two weeks) and their willingness to enhance every step of the consumer experience. e.g. while I was drooling over my Chronomat, they cleverly brewed fresh coffee for the wife and then sold her a diamond solitaire - very very slick! Well done boys! Shop looks beautiful and we wish you the best.... Oh the shop's name is Antonio Diamonds and they are located on the Main Street. |

Oh this is quite funny. I actually know the Antonio shop and have bought a Breitling watch from these people in October. In truth, because they're taxfree, their pricing is extremely keen and they stock pretty much as full as range as I've ever seen in the UK. Gibralter is interesting because it's as much as 25% cheaper than the UK, and you can still pay in Sterling. I've bought Rolex and Panerai from there before, but not from this shop. These guys stock Omega, Breitling and Rado and what I find amusing is, having met these guys, it doesn't surprise me that they themselves are the ones posting on this forum. Classic! |

My sister lives in Gibraltar and I'm out there quiet regularly and have bought a number of good watches and jewelry from some of the shops on the Main street.To be honest I know the old Breitling retailer quite well and I'm 100% sure from your descriptive that your not referring to her, because she also stocks Omega and Breitling and from all the years I have dealt with them, I've not been impressed with her service and pricing. If there's a new Breitling dealer I appreciate knowing who they are as I'm planning to fly their shortly and I am big fan of Breitling especially if the prices are better than UK, which just seems to get more and more expesnive. Most of the high-end shops are owned by Indians not Asians and also some Jewish family and from my experience, it is always possible to bargain with them especially on good diamond jewelry. Can you PM me privately the detials of the shop with the bold brothers to petrossimeonova@yahoo.co.uk, and also the saving you got on your purchase. |
