Post subject:  Got scammed by Erez Lugasi from Israel

Erez Lugasi from Israel screwed me over big-time. We were supposed to trade watches; I was to send him my
Navi Chronomatic and he was supposed to send me his Super Avenger. Pretty straight forward; have done this many times with honest people...

I express shipped my NAVI (at a cost of 168$) and needless to say that I am still waiting to receive the Super Avenger  .

This guy is a professional con-artist:

--he has used 3 different user names on Breitling Source
--3 different user names on EBAY (his latest one "GENERALE510" BEWARE
--and the funniest one of all, he has 2 different profiles on FaceBook

He doesn't respond to my PMs on Breitling Source (EREZLUGASI-HOSHERON he used to have 2 other ones, now banned).

Believe it or not, I tracked him down on Facebook! On one of his profiles he has a nice picture with his son (he removed it yesterday) and the other profile he is standing alone in front of the beach (this profile he ONLY communicates in HEBREW :? )...He is pretending to be a totally different person  . Maybe he is pretending to be his own brother, AGAIN  .... (we had discussed this here search.php?keywords=erezlugasi&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search)

Anyways, he only responded 1 time on Facebook ( I contacted him 10 times, so far). He says that I sent him a box full of newspapers and NO watch!!!

Also, he used a valid UPS tracking number to deceive me. This is how he did it: he entered a UPS store, filled out a waybill (probably bogus info) and emailed me the tracking number on that paper....very clever.... (This is a UPS loophole, again BEWARE)I think UPS should ONLY issue valid tracking numbers once a package has been delivered... I am sure this guy has done this many many times before....

In his Hebrew profile on Facebook, he pretends to not know me...

Thanks for reading... If anyone can help me in any way, please do....I have wasted enough time with this scammer.

EOM

That's an unfortunate case...I too was trumped by an individual in Canada on a Tudor deal.
I see there is also a blurb about this individual in the announcements area.

Sorry to here about this Spartan. :(

You may want to consider posting the S/N of the Chrono-matic just in case it shows up on ebay, WUS, Chrono24 or even back here under a new user name.

You may want to make a post concerning this in the Buyer/Seller feedback section as well.

Did you insure it? If so, that should cover it. I never send valuables without it, and I ship conus only. That way if someone scams me at least I can track them down.

That is the reason I longer deal with persons in CONUS.
Learnt my lesson on Ebay once to often, paying for items and not receiving them.
So the fraudsters do also live in the US.
I have therefor decided to only buy B'lings from AD's or do the handover in person at an AD.
Just to be sure you see. (It would surprise you how often people suddenly refuse to do a handover at an AD...)

my god, i don`t know how you can live whit this?? losing a watch that way is a disgrace

there is no way of getting it back?

trading a watch whit someone so far was risky

i once bought a computer cpu from a guy in israel, but made him create a ebay business and payed by paypal, i was kind of insured, now trading watches way more risky
