i have copies of all his emails confirming this sale, and proof of payment from my bank
but nothing from him

Sounds like a receipt to me. My guess is something odd is going on here, i believe that he has a legitimate business. Maybe he's on holiday...

not sure about that , im in buissness and even when i go away i check my emails daily, and he also told me that he would contact as soon as the money hit his account , well my bank tells me that it hit his account weeks ago !!!!!!!!
and surely someone would be holding the fort if he was away....
i think somethings happened to him

That is DEFINITELY a reciept in the US, do not know about AUS. Hope it works out. He is supposed to be a stand up guy!

I know it's no comfort for anyone else, but I've bought stuff from Lee in the past (straps and deployants) and the transactions have been fine - first rate with no problems at all. His ebay account has always had good feedback too.

I seem to remember Admin saying he'd had quite a few chats with him the past, so maybe he can shed some light on the current situation? (Apologies Admin if you actually don't know him from Adam!)

Holiday or not, it would be a two minute thing to put a notice to that affect on the website OR in the message on the phone number provided on his website. Leaving someone in limbo is NOT cool

Given the amount of limited information on your posts I would suggest that the Police would call this a 'civil dispute' and not a criminal matter. A financial transaction between two people where any sort of 'contract' is involved is a civil matter and therefore dealt with by a solicitor. You would need more information to suggest any criminal activity before the Police would deal with it. In any case it would not be an easy one to deal with given that you are on the opposite side of the globe.

Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but good luck.

On a positive note - a mate of mine ordered goods from Australia via the web before Christmas and has paid for 'express delivery' and they have arrived yet either. It may just be a case of Christmas and New Year delays and that your purchase will be with you soon.

thanks guys for all your support and help , but sadly my bank has told me that it hit his account just b 4 xmas and yet up until last week lee said that he hadnt recieved it thats a three week gap !
lee also told me that he was going away for the weekend and he would be checking his emails etc and would be back to work monday (monday just gone)
i have sent loads of emails and have called him on his work, mobile and home number (all numbers that i have obtained in the last few days) and left messages on all phones (which are switched off )
i tried again this morning and now all his mail boxes are full so other people are also trying to get hold of him....

i am praying that my gut feeling is incorrect but at the same time nothing adds up.
i hope this man is 100 % and that he is safe and well and nothing has happened to him.
but i have had to now involve both welsh and australian police on the advise i have been given with both lawyer and banks.

if there is anyone out there that knows of anything or of his where abouts please pm me

I dont know the seller, however after reading your last post, I think you will get your watch or your money back. You said he received the money before xmax. So why would he still respond to any emails or phone calls after that? You said you got a respond last week and he even told you he's gone for the weekend. Why would he do that? If he wanted to steal your money, he had no need to talk to you after it appeard on his account.
I hope everything works out for you and the seller. I would be nerveous too.

I agree, if he was going to take off why would he give you more than just that one business telephone number. He's running his business as an individual and is probably out of town for whatever reason.
